Sudoku Is Not To Be Confused With Sodoku

Changing one letter in a word can sometimes alter the meaning so radically that it is almost shocking. Suddenly your google search takes you to a serious disease description of Rat-Bite Fever. Causes include Streptobacillus moniliformis and Spirillum minus. The symptoms of the first (why spell that out again right?) include fever, rash, and arthralgias. Fever, rash and lymphadentitis are symptomatic to the second.

The name stems from the fact that a rat-bite will transmit either form to 10% of all humans who are bitten. There is more, but time to return to the other spelling - Sudoku. We wanted to be sure no potential Sudoku Puzzlers were frightened off by the thought of rat-bites being related to such an enjoyable pastime.

Putting together a number puzzle that resembles a Latin Square or a crossword puzzle with numbers instead of words, adding numbers 1 through 9 and your own thought-processing skills will bring you to the immensely popular hobby of Sudoku Puzzles. There are so many facets to this that it never becomes boring. If you do fall asleep it’s because you couldn’t stop playing long enough to get some much needed rest.

There are difficulty levels from children’s puzzles (age 6 and older) to beginning, medium skill level and on up to - this one will take you forever to finish - level. It starts out as a simple way to pass the time. Next you think about it while you are doing other things. When you abandon all other activities in favor of Sudoku Puzzles - you’ll know you have reached the point of addiction.

“Yes Mom I’ll be right in to dinner.”

Ten minutes later family members must come to your computer and drag you to the dining room.

“Yes Dad my homework is all finished” said with your fingers crossed under the table.

“Of course I’m getting enough sleep.”

What you are getting is enough puzzle time - except - there is never enough time for Sudoku in your estimation…
