Sudoku Is Not Just For Adults Anymore
We all love kids (the Grinch not included). We all want to nurture their minds and expand their abilities. Of course, it goes without saying that we all want to make them happy. As much fun as Sudoku is for grown-ups, it can be as amusing for kids. Their puzzles however, must be age-appropriate so as not to frustrate them rather than interest them. Any teacher will tell you that solving puzzles, will lead to interpretive and problem solving capabilities as they progress in school. This is one of the many things that will contribute to their abilities in the academic world.
Fortunately, there are sites online which offer kids the same opportunities for addiction to Sudoku that their parents often have. Many of them offer printing capability. Any child from age six and older can have fun with these. If you are a frustrated adult who feels left behind, start with these easy ones. No one needs to know you’ve been solving the children’s version of Sudoku and you can elevate your skills faster. Start slow - end up fast.
Returning to the kid’s puzzle sites we find many of them just waiting to be explored. Perhaps the kids would like to choose their own and ask you to print them out. Playing online is always an option. The fad which began in the eighties has returned in full force.
There are many benefits to be gained by allowing the kids to solve puzzles:
* Development
* Improvement of logical thinking
* Extra challenges for the gifted child
There are ways that Sudoku puzzles can be used by teachers, Girl Scout Troop Leaders and grandparents who want to share quiet time activities with their grandchildren. Its interesting to them, its fun for them but we caution you - it can be addictive.
There are free daily puzzles available on the Internet. Or you can access a paid site to download puzzles with the use of a credit card. Share the fun with YOUR child - share Sudoku…
