When you become addicted to Sudoku, it can be extremely time-consuming. In the summer students sometimes spend 12 hours a day at it. They play online. They time themselves against previous players. They join a discussion group so they can talk about Sudoku Puzzles when they aren’t busy playing them.

We all love kids (the Grinch not included). We all want to nurture their minds and expand their abilities. Of course, it goes without saying that we all want to make them happy. As much fun as Sudoku is for grown-ups, it can be as amusing for kids. Their puzzles however, must be age-appropriate so as not to frustrate them rather than interest them. Any teacher will tell you that solving puzzles, will lead to interpretive and problem solving capabilities as they progress in school. This is one of the many things that will contribute to their abilities in the academic world.
